At West Point, cadets used to be responsible for cutting slices of whatever dessert they were presented in the mess hall. Luckily, back in the day, they had templates with lines showing the different angles for however many slices they needed. In collaboration with my team at West Point Association of Graduates, we challenged some of our in-house old grads to cut 7 and 9 perfect slices... without the templates. To up the ante even more, we filmed it at our All Hands meeting in-front of all the employees of the AOG.
Branch night is one of the most anticipated and nerve wracking events for a West Point Firstie (senior). When we were across the country in Colorado Springs for the Army vs. Air Force football game, we spent some time interviewing Old Grads on what their branch was and asked them to give some advice for the Class of 2026 ahead of their branch night.
